TOPICS
<Silicon Valley Internship Program>
In this program, students will develop their prototype in Hacker Dojo which is a Silicon Valley (SV) Office of the University of Aizu (UoA). Since the Hacker Dojo is a co-working space of engineers, the students can experience product development directly. In addition, they give a presentation about their prototype to engineers and entrepreneurs in English and exhibit their prototype in a Mini Maker Faire. Furthermore, visiting companies and universities is also a part of the program, which encourages them to feel professional atmosphere of product development.
A total of 39 students participated in the explanatory session and 14 students applied for the program. Through the interview, eight of them including international students were selected.
