IEEE CASS Technical Committee on Education and Outreach (CASEO) Initiatives
My Role and Commitment to CASEO
I am a dedicated, elected member of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) Technical Committee on Education and Outreach (CASEO). My work supports the committee's global mission to advance educational standards, promote inclusive science and engineering outreach, and foster innovation in the field of circuits, systems, and architectures.
Key Activities and Contributions
- September 2025: Technical Committee
Election
Elected Member of the CASEO Technical Committee:
Elected as a Technical Committee (TC) member of the CASEO Initiative, promoting the highest standards for educational resources and professional development. This role formalizes my long-standing commitment to improving global technical literacy and access to high-quality education in advanced computing systems.
- Since 2004: Global Education and
Knowledge Exchange (MCSoC)
Founder and Standing Committee Chair of the IEEE MCSoC Forum Series:
The IEEE MCSoC Forum is a premier annual international symposium dedicated to bringing together researchers and practitioners in Multicore Systems-on-Chip. As founder and chair, I ensure the forum remains a crucial platform for knowledge dissemination, directly supporting the CASEO goal of global technical education and fostering excellence in circuits and systems architectures.
See the official MCSoC website for more details on the forum's history and impact.
- 2008–Present: International
Curriculum Development
VLSI and Computer Systems Education Worldwide:
My extensive international teaching engagements, including invited courses at leading universities in Nigeria, China, and Hong Kong, align directly with the CASEO outreach mission. These courses—focused on VLSI Design, Networks-on-Chip (NoC), and Multicore Systems—have been critical in equipping students across multiple continents with the theoretical and practical skills necessary for modern semiconductor design.
View details of these specific teaching engagements on the Teaching page.
