On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, SAISUA held the Welcome Party for new students enrolling in October. There were 58 participants including faculty and staff members, and international/Japanese students.

Mr. AETSAM Ur Rehman from Pakistan (2nd year of undergraduate) , Mr. VAJRAPU Venkateshwar from India (2nd year of undergraduate) and Ms. SAKAMAKI Anri (4th year of undergraduate) took the role of the MC for this event.
At the beginning of the party, Vice President Iwase and Prof. Julian gave their welcome remarks. Then, new students introduced themselves to everyone. After some free time, all participants played bingo. Because bingo terms based on participants' nationalities, initials, etc., everyone actively talked to others to fill their bingo cards. By playing bingo, participants were getting to be friends with others. Lastly, Prof. SAXENA gave a speech welcoming new students again.

This is the last Welcome Party by SAISUA for this year. We plan to hold the next party for new students next Spring.
