On September 11, 2018, the University of Aizu updated the agreement of cooperation with the VNU University of Engineering and Technology (VNU-UET), Hanoi, Vietnam.
Prof. Ryuichi Oka, President of the UoA was warmly welcomed by Prof. Nguyen Viet Ha, Rector of the VNU University of Engineering and Technology (VNU-UET) and Prof. Pham Bao Son, Vice-Rector, Prof. Nguyen Phuong Thai, Head, Department of Academic Affairs, Prof. Tran Xuan Tu, Head, Department of Science & Technology and International Relations, Dr. Pham Minh Trien, Deputy Head, Dept. of Science & Technology and International, Prof. Phan Xuan Hieu, Vice Dean, Faculty of Information Technology, and Prof. Tran Duc Tan, Vice Dean, Faculty of Electronics and Communications.
Prof. Toshiaki Miyazaki, Dean of the School of Computer Science and Technology, the University of Aizu, Prof. Abderazek Ben Abdallah, Head of the Division of Computer Engineering, the University of Aizu, and lecturers from VNU-UET also attended the meeting and the agreement signing ceremony.
At the meeting, the two sides exchanged ideas on their research topics including Artificial Intelligent (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Embedded Systems, as well as on lecturer and student exchange between UoA and VNU-UET. As the end of the meeting, President Ryuichi Oka and Rector Nguyen Viet Ha signed an agreement of cooperation between the UoA and VNU-UET. Please see about the event on the VNU-UET website as well.
