The "Study Abroad Fair," which introduces the University of Aizu short-term study abroad programs during spring break, was held on Wednesday, November 30 and Thursday, December 1.
The University offers two programs to students during spring break for the purpose of fostering excellent human resources with an international perspective. At the fair, outlines of the two programs were explained and students who have realized their study abroad told their experiences. Also interviews to Mr. Kyohei Shiozawa who is currently studying at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, and Mr. Gregory Tourville who has just returned to the Institute after finishing his study at the University of Aizu in November, were broadcasted live on the internet. They introduced what is important to experience living, study and research in other countries as well as good influences on their campus life and careers in the future. Participants received straight answers to their questions about overseas life during the Q and A session.
Application deadline to the overseas study programs is Friday, December 9, 2011.
