On Thursday, September 10, 2009, Professor Hung-Yu Chien (Chairman of Department of Information Management), Professor Peng-Yen Yin (Dean of Research & Development, Department of Information Management) and Associate Professor Su-Tzu Juan (Department of Computer Science & Information Engineering) visited the University of Aizu. After a courtesy visit to President Tsunoyama, they held a discussion with Director Iwase (Center for Strategy of International Programs), Dean Kuroda (The School of Computer Science and Engineering) and Assistant Professor Guo regarding exchanges between the universities. In the discussion, both universities agreed to make their best endeavor to develop a collaborative relationship in science and education. They also introduced features of the universities to each other and discussed on possible future exchange plans. National Chi Nan University is a new university established in 1995 and it consists of 3 colleges, College of Science and Technology, College of Management and College of Humanity. The university has about 4,548 students and the number is increasing every year. This visit was realized after Assistant Professor Guo from UoA has been exchanging with this university.
