On Tuesday, April 28, an online international talk was held as a part of "Virtual Global Lounge (VGL)" activity, and 71 Japanese students, international students, and faculty and staff members were participated via Zoom.

Savadogo Abdoul (2nd year Master's student) from Burkina Faso, introduced their culture, festivals, food and sightseeing places of his country in English.
Burkina Faso is located in West Africa. It has 60 ethnic groups and the official language is French. There were various festivals, and "International Festival of Masks and Arts" was very interesting.

There are many traditional instruments and clothes, and fashionable traditional clothes and attractive hotels are also introduced. He also shared about a wide range of Burkina Faso cuisine, drinks and attractions.
Mr. Abdoul's talk was very interesting and fun, and although everyone participated via Zoom, the participants asked various questions. We had a wonderful time and a good cross-cultural understanding.

The next International Talk "The Study Abroad Experience of Japanese Students in America" will be held on May 13 via Zoom. Please feel free to join us.
