Program Overview

The International Credit Recognition Program (ICRP) is open to undergraduate and graduate students from designated partner universities. It allows participants to study at the University of Aizu for a period ranging from one quarter to one academic year, with the possibility of transferring earned credits to their home institutions.

Steps for Students

  1. Download All Required Documents:
    • Application Packet (PDF)
    • SAS-1 Course Selection Form (XLSX)
    • SAS-2 Application Form / SAS-3 Curriculum Vitae / SAS-4 Letter of Recommendation (DOC)
    • Checklists for Students and International Office (PDF)
  2. Prepare Application Documents:
    Complete all required forms and supporting materials in accordance with the application guidelines and checklists.
  3. Confirm Completeness Using the Checklist:
    Use the Student Checklist to ensure that all documents are complete and correctly prepared.
  4. Submit to Home Institution:
    Submit the finalized application package to the International Office at your home institution.

Steps for Partner Universities

  1. Provide Application Information to Students:
    Share the Application Packet, required forms, and checklists with all eligible students.
  2. Collect Candidate Materials:
    Receive all application documents submitted by students.
  3. Review Submitted Applications Using the International Office Checklist:
    Review each application for completeness and compliance with the application guidelines using the International Office Checklist.
  4. Compile and Submit Through the System:
    Combine the verified documents into a single PDF file for each student and upload it to the designated system.

Important Notes

  • The password to access the Application Packet and Checklist files will be sent via email to the International Office at the home institution.
  • Use the checklists to ensure all documents are complete before submission.
  • Students not affiliated with a partner university should apply through the Non-Regular Student Admission Program .
