Before I go to the U.S. to study abroad, I want to learn the tips for research; specifically, I want to acquire English, python and learn how to write a thesis mainly. When I arrived at RHIT and started taking the class (ESL101, ESL111, CSSE120), I remember I couldn't do anything. For ten days or more, every day was the same routine repeatedly. So just one day in 10 days was so long, I felt. One day, when I got the score and feedback from our professor, I was depressed by the assessment. Even though I tried to speak and listen hard, it was not well enough. It was a very painful day. Even stronger the belief that I assumed I could do well in speaking and listening, the impact was more prominent when I received the assessment. I indeed believed my possibility. But I kept going ahead because I had decided only this way. "If I dislike English, I ought to study it until I get to like it. "that's the lesson I learned.

It was meeting with an international student who got me inspired in my life. They decide to get strong and aim at climbing a mountain of a dream. Looking at them, I have been fascinated by them as time passes. They tell me how to clime for a goal. Since that day, I literally became an international student.

When I went to the U.S. for the first time, I was uneasy about whether it was successful or not. But, even if it gets failure, it's going to be experienced for me. So I decided to go to the U.S. If you have a dream and try to catch it, it was complicated and afraid of going to the U.S. practically, even if it's easy to consider going. But in that way, you will get a big chance.

P.S. In Chinese, United States is represented as "beautiful country."
