Distinguished Lecturer
IEEE CASS Distinguished Lecturer (2026–2027)
Selected as a Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) for the 2026–2027 term. This prestigious appointment was officially approved by the IEEE CASS Board of Governors in recognition of outstanding contributions to the field. Through this program, Prof. Ben Abdallah will share advanced research insights — particularly in neuromorphic engineering, 3D-ICs, and brain-inspired computing — with IEEE chapters, academic institutions, and industry professionals around the globe.

National Honors & Government Service
National President Award for Best Tunisian Researcher Living Abroad — 2010
This highly prestigious national prize is awarded annually to the best researcher living abroad. The award was presented by the Prime Minister, on behalf of the President of the Republic of Tunisia, at a formal ceremony following a rigorous selection process by a national committee. Prof. Ben Abdallah received this top honor in recognition of his outstanding contributions to science and technology, specifically for his research in information systems and biomedical applications.
Member, Prime Minister's High-Level Committee for Science and Technology (2009–2011)
Responsible for the ICT Working Group under the Prime Minister's Office. Prof. Ben Abdallah provided high-level guidance and policy recommendations to strengthen Tunisia's science and technology ecosystem. The committee focused on shaping national strategies to foster innovation and digital transformation to drive sustainable economic growth.
