[Global Lounge] Activities at the Global Lounge will be suspended until May 31st

At the Global Lounge on the 1st floor of the Research quadrangles of Aizu University, we have held various exchange activities every day as a place where foreign and Japanese students can casually deepen their understanding of different cultures and improve their language skills. However, we decided to temporarily suspend the activities in the lounge until May 31st in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection. In spite of the situation, reflecting the voices of students who want to deepen exchanges between students, we are promoting the establishment of the "Virtual Global Lounge (VGL)" (probably via Zoom) so that everyone can communicate remotely over the Internet.

For more details, scheduling, how to participate in it and so on will be announced later in the university e-mail and on the website of the OSIP office.

Please note that we will extend this suspension period depending on the circumstances.

◆The VGL activity schedule for May is:.
・May 13th: "International talk" by Japanese student introducing "My Study Abroad Experience in America ~my world changed through the study abroad~".
