| Trip to Koriyama by Shinkansen |

To reach the Shinkansen
tracks at Tokyo Station you should go upstairs via several escalators.
There you should buy the shinkansen ticket to Koriyama station.
Please show your previous ticket to a ticket officer when you buy a new one.
The ticket is valid through the day, but reservation of the seat is valid
only for concrete train. If you pass it you may take either train but you
loose your reservation of the seat.The cars of shinkansen trains have indication
whether they are reserved or nonreserved. In the case of resevation the seat
number, number of the car, departure and arrival time are shown in the ticket. Koriyama is usually the forth stop from Tokyo Station. Anyway there is no problem because of announcements (in Japanese and English) by radio in the train. Apart from this you can see the exact arrival time indicated in your ticket (reserved).
