UoA Students Appointed as Fukushima Prefectural Cybersecurity Volunteers

Four students of Senior Associate Professor NAKAMURA's Information Security Laboratory,(※1) AKASAKA Kohei (M2), YOSHIDA Keita (M2), NAMIKI Yusuke (M1), IGARASHI Ryo (U4) were appointed as Fukushima Prefecture Cybersecurity Volunteers and received letters of appointment on campus on Wednesday, August 5, 2020.
Cybersecurity volunteers monitor the web, report illegal websites, and engage in efforts such as public awareness activities for cybercrime prevention.
We have been cooperating with Fukushima Prefecture's cybercrime prevention efforts through our students appointed as cybersecurity volunteers for three consecutive years from 2018.
