Ms. Zhenni Li, a UoA 3rd-year doctoral student, won the "Most Excellent Student Paper Award" at the IEEE 7th International Conference on Awareness Science and Technology (iCAST2015 *1) for her paper "Dictionary Learning with L1/2 Regularizer for Sparsity Based on Proximal Operator." The award honors students who conducted excellent research presentations at iCAST2015.

Comment from Ms. Li: "It is my great honor to receive this award at the closing of my student career. This award represents the culmination of my three years as a doctoral student. I would like to express my appreciation for Prof. Shuxue Ding's kindest support and help at every single stage. I would also like to thank my colleague Ms. Yujie Li for her help.
