2nd-year master's student KOBAYASHI Seiya received the Best Paper Award at the Information Precession Society of Japan National Convention in March 2020. He presented his graduation thesis research at the 81st National Conference of the Information Processing Society of Japan held at Fukuoka University in March 2019 and won the award. This award was established in FY1996 and the award presentation ceremony is usually held in March of the following year. However, as the presentation ceremony for the 81st convention was cancelled due to the COVID-19, the certificate and award medal were sent to Mr. Kobayashi this March.
