Assistant Professor Abderazek Ben Abdallah (Adaptive Systems Laboratory of the University of Aizu) gave lectures at the African University of Science and Technology (AUST) in Abuja, Nigeria, and at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in Hong Kong, China.
Assistant Professor Ben Abdallah has been invited to AUST for three weeks from March 15 as an instructor for intensive courses of AUST. He gave lectures on Computer Architecture and Design to graduate students of AUST. "The students were very active and enthusiastic about learning from my lectures, and I was very impressed." talked Assistant Professor Ben Abdallah as his impression after the lectures. Assistant Professor Ben Abdallah said that he would like to work on creating an exchange project for faculty and students between AUST and UoA, and to continue such efforts that UoA would contribute to curriculum development of AUST.
Assistant Professor Ben Abdallah was also invited to the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in March to give lectures about Network-on-chip. Approximately 50 graduate students participated in each lecture. The university was founded in 1991 and has enriched programs on Business. Although the university is young, it receives high reputation not only in Hong Kong but also in Asia.
