On Monday 6 March, 2006, President Ikegami and Prof Sagawa of UoA visited Tamkang University in Taipei, Taiwan to sign a Cooperative Agreement. The two univerities have had joint research relations from previous years in the area of Information Science and Ubiquitous Network technologies. In 2005, Prof. Tei Shigaku of UoA hosted Prof. Hui-Huang Hsu of Tamkang at UoA for three months for joint research. Further exchange plans of researchers and students are now in progress between the two institutions.
