Intermediary Immigration Service at UoA

Student Affairs Division of University of Aizu offers the immigration service that university correspondent goes to the Koriyama Branch office of the Sendai Regional Immigration Bureau about once a month for submitting your visa documentation on behalf of you. This intermediary immigration service is for UoA international students only. Family members are not applicable.
If you are not able to submit your necessary document, we have to ask you to go to the immigration office by yourself.
UoA can be a proxy for;

• Application for Extension of Period of Stay
• Application for Change of Status of Residence
• Application for Working Permit

Global Lounge

The Global Lounge is a place where international and Japanese students can deepen their understanding of each other's cultures, improve their language skills, and expand their friendships. English books, comic books, and board games, etc. are always available for students in the lounge. You can also participate and enjoy a variety of activities that are led by students.
