During the 1995 academic school year, members of the research team conducted research on student writing, dictionary use and misuse, written genres in the computer science profession, the composing process of native and non-native English speaking computer scientists, successful science writing programs in other nations, high-frequency syntax and lexis in computer writing, as well as various other research ventures.
