Parallel Scientific Computation

Stanislav G. Sedukhin,
Associate Professor, Distributed Parallel Laboratory

This project is focused mainly on two problems: (1) organizing and improving the common computation and information infrastructure of the university for collaborative work and teaching in the field of parallel scientific computing, and, (2) solving large-scale scientific problems on the parallel computing facilities. For solving the problem (1) we widely use Internet and World Wide Web. We used the CM-5, transputers systems and network of workstations for parallel solution of a number of problems of the numerical analysis and scientific visualization.
