This project is a joint research, just begun from this academic year by all 8 members of our Center. The goal of this research is to investigate comprehensively the common subject ``Human Development and Culture" from the viewpoint of ``the role of computers", making good use of the different disciplines of our members. This year we had seminars several times, each sub-theme relevant to the common one. A part of the research results has already been reported in our Annual Review No. 1. We would like to extend and expand the program next year also.
