The Framework for Advanced Software Techniques (FAST) spans the software life-cycle from requirements capture to maintenance, evolution and re-use. Major FAST achievements include development of an algebraic engineering framework encompassing models of knowledge and automation of object-oriented design; application of the object-oriented paradigm to software evolution; and creation of Enhanced Aizu Standard Environment (EASE) based on design insights for user-community environments. Refereed papers reporting our results are accepted for COMPSAC'94 IEEE.
