Research in Programming

Programming knowledge and skills are crucial for getting computers to work the way we want them to. The programming programs we use to do that are written using special languages called programming languages. There are many different programming languages, and how particular programming code is written and the tools used to do so will vary depending on the purpose for which the code is being written. The University of Aizu directs its energies in particular into:

  • New programming languages that are easy to write and easy to understand;
  • The characteristic features of a particular programming language, and how to make effective use of those features;
  • Programming languages learning support.
