授業の概要
The course uses the relational model of a database.
The study aims at understanding user level, Programmer level and implementation level. The course prepares the participants to become system engineers, designers, and software developers. The first part, explains relational theory and query languages for databases using different methods.
Second part contains a study of database management system for system software and application development.
授業の目的と到達目標
It is a basic course related to information Systems.
It considers how to get information from a large volume of data.
The participants study system architecture, database design as well as the application of database systems technology.
It covers concepts for organizing database systems. It also provides knowledge of application development and experience of working with a relational database management system.
Further concepts related to web data, knowledge and information extraction are introduced. Most of the study uses detailed examples and class exercises.
