Situation Regarding Approval for Applications for Project Grants

Several proposals for projects to be carried out by the University have been approved for funding by grants issued by the national government.

FY 2008

  • The "Career Development Program for Students from Asia", a project to foster high level international professionals (The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT))

FY 2007

  • The "Support Program for Improving Graduate School Education" (MEXT)
  • The "Student Support Program Responding to Contemporary Needs of Society" (MEXT)
  • The "Support Program for Measures for Current Educational Needs" (MEXT)
  • The "Program for Promotion of Projects for University Reform and Globalization of University Education" (MEXT)

FY 2005

  • Strategic Fund for Establishing International Headquarters in Universities (MEXT)

FY 2003

  • The "Program for Support of Distinctive University Education" (MEXT)(funded through FY 2005)（funded through FY 2005）
