Style of Master's Thesis

1 Logical Style

Master thesis should consist of 4 parts, i.e. Preliminary pages, Abstract, Main part of the text and Reference sections.

1 Preliminary pages
Preliminary pages should consist of 7parts. Part 1, 2 and 4 are request but the others are optional.
1 Title Page
2 Approval Page
3 Dedication Page
4 Table of Contents
5 List of Figures, List of Tables, List of Symbols
6 Preface
7 Acknowledgments
2 Abstract
Abstract in 300-400 words within one page.
3 Main part
Main part of the text written in English and divided into chapters or sections. Annotations should be footnoted.
4 Reference Sections
Reference Sections consist of 3 parts. Part 1. is requested but the others are optional.

2 Physical Style

1 Size of page
A4
2 Margin
Top 1 inch
Left 1.5 inch (For binding)
Right 1 inch
Bottom 1 inch
3 Pagination
Each page of the entire manuscript must be numbered, except where stated below, in the bottom center of the page.
Each part of the Preliminary pages should be located at the top of the page and are numbered with lower case Roman numerals (i, ii, iii, iv, ....) . The title page and approved page are not numbered although they are counted as "i" or "ii" in the preliminary pages. The other pages are numbered with "iii", "iv", ..
Abstract page should not be numbered.
The main part of the text and reference sections are consecutively numbered with Arabic numerals beginning with page "1".
4 Spacing
The draft for the referees’ review and the final manuscript should be double spaced.
After the approval of the review committee, the single spaced final version should be submitted for preservation.
5 Printing, Signature and Preservation
A final version should be printed on both sides of the A4 papers and attached with an approval page filled with the referees’ signature. The version is preserved as an original.
Both printed form (the approved page of the duplicate copy is a photocopy of the original one) and electronic form (PDF format) are preserved as duplicate copies.
