The Fifth Field of Study
Educational Goals
This field offers students exposure to a wide range of computer architecture related technologies including embedded systems, VLSI technologies, and computer device technologies. Regarding embedded systems, a broad and deep knowledge of application software, OS, architecture, and electronics are considered as targets. Regarding VLSI technologies, not only digital design but also physical design and analog electronics are covered. Regarding computer device technologies, both theoretical and practical study and research of micro/nano devices are included.
