The Second Field of Study
Educational Goals
Parallel processing is a major working horse for computers today and in the future. This field of study aims to teach and expose students to research in the most advanced and innovative computer technologies covering from hardware architecture to application software. Study of software/hardware algorithms and programming languages for parallel and distributed computing is included in this field.
