"Aizu IT AKI Forum 2011" Poster Design Competition Award Ceremony
For the "Aizu IT AKI Forum 2011" on Friday, October 14, 2011, poster designs featuring IT, Aizu, and autumn were invited from students of the Junior College Division. From among the four students participated in the competition, Mr. Daiki Akutsu, 2nd-year student of the Design Information Course of the Department of Industrial Information Sciences, won the best poster award, and Mr. Kotaro Saito received the special award. The best poster award winner, Mr. Akutsu said, "The five lines in my design represent the virtues cherished by people in Aizu, such as patience and cheerfulness." The award ceremony for the completion was held on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at the University of Aizu Junior College Division, and Regent Jiro Iwase of the University of Aizu presented the prizes and award certificates to Mr. Akutsu and Mr. Saito, and participation prizes to two other students. Mr. Saito’s poster design will be used for publicity of "The University of Aizu New Technology Seminar" to be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2011.
