Title of Professor Emeritus for Dr. Tripp
The University of Aizu conferred a title of Professor Emeritus for Professor Steven Tripp who retired from the University on September 30, 2011.
Prof. Tripp who had worked at the Center for Language Research since October, 1994, devoted himself to English education for our students over the last 17 years. For 3 years from April, 2003, he worked as the Director of the CLR. All his achievements have been recognized as the outstanding contributions to the development of the University.
President Tsunoyama handed a letter of appointment and a commemorative gift at the ceremony for conferment of the title on September 30.
