Ten Students Newly Admitted to the Graduate School
10 newly-enrolled students, 6 Master's students and 4 Doctoral students, started their campus life at the Graduate School of Computer Science and Engineering in fall, 2011. Most of them are from foreign countries.
President Tsunoyama declared their admission to the University at the AY 2011 Autumn Entrance Ceremony. To the new students with hopes to be highly educated in IT knowledge and skills at the Graduate School, President Tsunoyama offered words of encouragement by saying "I sincerely hope that all of you will make strenuous efforts toward your goals to become leading scientists and engineers with excellent IT skills." Ms. Ruth Patricia Cortez from El Salvador, representing the new students, pledged to seek opportunities to use their curiosity and creativity, and to contribute to society with their research achievements to be made at the Graduate School.
