Use of Facilities
Although the University regular operation is possible due to slight damage by the earthquake, building heating and hot water supply are not available due to shutdown of the boilers. The elevators are also out of service. To prepare for the anticipated shortage of electricity in near future, please save electricity. All relevant inquiries should be directed to the Facilities Section of the General Affairs and Budget Division via e-mail (e-mail: cl-facility@u-aizu.ac.jp).
The University-Business Innovation Center opens its Seminar Room and Meeting Room to the public free of charge, starting from Tuesday, March 29. These rooms are available for business contacts, studying and for access to evacuation-related information.

- From Tuesday, March 29 to Thursday, April 28, 2011 *Except Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, April 22 and April 25
- Open hours
- From 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Purposes of use
- Business contact by e-mail, making documents preparation using WORD/EXCEL/PowerPoint applications, business meetings, access to evacuation-related information and self-study, etc.
- (Note) Sales activities and PC games are not allowed in the center.

The University Library opens from March 28. Opening hours are as follows.
- Weekdays: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Sundays and Holidays: Closed

Open hours for the Cafeteria and the University Bookstore are as follows.
- Cafeteria: From 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Bookstore: From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
From the dates noted below, the open hours will return to normal.
- Cafeteria: Monday, May 2, 2011
- Bookstore: Monday, April 25, 2011
