UoA Volunteer Recruit and Other Important Notes related to the Earthquake

(1) Volunteer Recruit in Aizu Wakamatsu City
There are several emergency evacuation area established within the city jurisdiction of the City of Aizu Wakamatsu.  Many volunteers are needed to support people sheltered in those evacuation area.  If any students of the University of Aizu are willing to participate in these support activities, please contact Student Affairs Division.    SAD strongly encourages students' participation in this emergency.

(2) Important Notes from the University
Until the situation calms down, SAD encourages our students that not to leave house unless it's extremely necessary.  The University is open for 24 hours, if students need to continue their researches; it's possible to continue their work on campus.

(3) After-school Activities
All after-school activities must be reduced as much as possible, especially outside activities.  But meetings and indoor activities which are necessary, are allowed to be held.

(4) Damages caused by the Earthquake
The University facilities are damaged from the Earthquake and required extra caution.  The University is not able to fix those damaged areas immediately, we ask your understanding and pay caution when you pass by those area.
