  • The graduate student of the University of Aizu who presents a paper at an academic conference (overseas ONLY) is supported financially.
  • The amount of the subsidy is 20,000 yen.
  • A chance to receive the subsidy from this foundation is ONCE a year. (Fiscal year of this association starts from December.)

(note) The subsidy for graduate students presenting a paper at a domestic conference(10,000yen) was discontinued in 2009.

arrow Other documents to be attached to an application form (What you need to submit besides the application form)

  • Photocopies of a web page of the conference with summary in Japanese.
  • Photocopies of an acceptance letter with summary in Japanese

arrow Report submission (one-page report written in Japanese must be submitted within a month after your return from the conference.)

It usually takes about four Weeks to receive the result. KONWAKAI fund pays the money in cash, after your application is approved by the committee of KONWAKAI fund.
