Application Guide for the AY 2012 University of Aizu Research Student Admissions

- 2. Application Qualifications
- Individuals who satisfy any of the following conditions
- Individuals who have graduated from universities or those who are expected to graduate from one by the time of their admission to the University.
- Individuals who have been recognized by the President of the University of Aizu as having scholastic ability equivalent to or higher than that of university graduates, based upon research conducted on a specific and specialized matter at the University.

- (Applicants residing in Japan)
April Admission - Wednesday, February 15, 2012 (The date of the official postmark on the envelope will be accepted as the date the application was received.) October Admission - Wednesday, August 15, 2012 (The date of the official postmark on the envelope will be accepted as the date the application was received.) - (Applicants residing outside Japan)
April Admission - Tuesday, November 15, 2011 (The date of the official postmark on the envelope will be accepted as the date the application was received.) October Admission - Tuesday, May 15, 2012 (The date of the official postmark on the envelope will be accepted as the date the application was received.) - 4. Selection Method
- Successful applicants shall be selected based on screening of documents submitted.
- 5. Successful Applicants Announcement
- Admission approval announcement shall be sent in writing to each successful applicant. (Inquiry by phone is possible.)
- 6. Application Fee
- 9,800 yen (Application fee should be paid to the bank account designated by the University of Aizu.)
- 7. Admission Fee
- 84,600 yen
- 8. Tuition
- 28,900 yen per month

- 1. Admissions Capacity
- A limited number
- 2. Application Qualifications
- Individuals who satisfy any of the following conditions
- Individuals who have completed a graduate school master's program or those who are expected to complete one by the end of March or end of September, 2012.
- Individuals who have been accepted as Japanese government scholarship students (research students) and who wish to go on to the University of Aizu Graduate School after completion of the research period.
- Individuals who have been recognized by the President of the University of Aizu as having scholastic ability equivalent to or higher than that of individuals who have completed a graduate school master's program, upon conducting research in his/her field of specialization.
