The IEEE Student Branch of the University of Aizu

We cordially invite the submission of proposals for poster presentations at Graduate School Information Fair, to be displayed from Wednesday , June 17th, to Friday, August 28th, 2020 at the University of Aizu.

The student poster session is an annual event organized by the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Aizu and is an integral part of the Graduate School Information Fair. This aims to provide an opportunity for interactive discussions, exchanging research ideas/progress among Graduate School students, laboratories and attracting undergraduate students to join the graduate school.

Poster submissions may describe recent completed work, highly relevant results of work in progress, or successful systems and applications, in all areas related to current research topics in the University of Aizu Graduate School. Posters are not formal publications, work submitted as a poster in this session is eligible for future publication in other venues.

Because of the current situation, and for the sake of safety, to present properly your achievement, Students should submit a poster with a youtube video, but this details has been revised and now it’s no longer required even if we encourage you to submit it in order to support your work.

The video should explain your work by describing in little details the main parts of your poster (Introduction, Objectives, Methods and Results). For this, you are recommended to use power point slides or any other variant (5~8 slides) and your video should last around 10 minutes. As for the poster, the video can be in English or Japanese.

Please make sure of the quality of your video (sound and Image) before submitting its link through a google form with information related to the poster and presenter. As for the poster, it can be either in portrait or landscape format. All submitted materials must be in PDF format with embedded fonts. Samples of posters can be found in following links:
